The plant has an installed capacity of 50 metric tons of Sulphuric Acid per day. The major production of the plant is supplied to Fauji Jordan Fertilizer Company Limited under a ten year buy back agreement with them. The surplus capacity is supplied to the open market for battery use. EXIDE has the unique distinction of being the first battery manufacturer in Pakistan to be accorded ISO 9002 certificate in recognition of the quality control and management systems being followed by the company.
