Description: The successful research products in the field of homeopathy, W.S research center had considerable. Considerable pressure from the Cotton growers of Pakistan for development of some homeopathic medicine for their crops. From last couple of years the Virus attack on the crops and various pests attacks are getting severe. The growers are trapped in the viscous circle of increasing the number of sprays on the crops with the result of higher costs of production and lower yields of the cotton crop / acre. along with his research team accepted the challenge for development of homeopathic Pesticides in 1997. The general objectives for developing homeopathic pesticides were to have Fast action and effective control on the Viruses, White fly and other Pest, Safe for humans and the environment, Should be substantially lower in cost as compared to the existing highly poisonous pesticides. It took almost one year for development of the formulation of First Homeopathic Pesticide in the World for the Cotton crops. During this development another new concept to have these medicines enriched with the ability to absorb the fertilizers more effectively was also incorporated. The Global objective was to improve the ability of the crop to absorb the natural and artificial fertilizers more effectively so that over all requirement of fertilizers is also reduced with substantial cost benefits and reduced wastages. During the Cotton season of 1998 the Trials at various locations and selected cotton fields were carried out. The growers used in parallel the conventional pesticides to compare the effectiveness of homeopathic pesticides along with the normal pesticides. The results showed that the homeopathic pesticides performed with equal effectiveness to control various attacks on the cotton crop. In some areas the growers had to make seven sprays of conventional pesticides while for homeopathic pesticide they did not need more than three to four sprays. The cotton yield per acre was similar.
